# Segments

This legacy article explains how to create Segments in your Seen Platform Workspace.

Segments can be used to create groups of data based on the available [Properties](../../platform/settings/properties) within the workspace.

## How to create segments?

To create a segment, navigate to **Data** ⇒ **Segments** and click on **Create Segment**.

You can choose between your previously saved Segments with the menu on the top left side of the page on the Data page.
