# Insights

This guide provides an overview of the various statistics and graphs available for this Project's performance.

## Date Range - Menu

You will be able to change the date range of the statistics you wish to view through this menu. Options include:

* Today
* Yesterday
* Last 7 days
* Last 14 days
* Last 30 days
* Last 90 days
* Last 365 days
* Lifetime
* Custom Range

The timestamps reflect your current timezone.

This is set to **Last 7 days** by default.

### Player type - Toggle buttons

You can filter these statistics by player mode to view data for **Embedded** or **Standalone** players separately.

::: details Standalone
Shows the statistics from Seen hosted video players (`https://player.seen.io/v/xxxxx`)
:::

::: details Embedded
Shows the statistics from any [embedded seen videos](../player/embedding).
:::

### Refresh - Button

This button refreshes this page. You will see the last regeneration time displayed on the left side of the button.

## Performance

The Performance section is divided into 4 different parts:

### General Statistics

* **Visits** – How many Player links have been loaded within the timespan chosen via the Date Range menu.
* **Videos played** – How many videos have been played within the timespan chosen via the Date Range menu.
* **CTA clicks** – How many CTA button clicks within the timespan chosen via the Date Range menu.
* **Shared videos** – How many Share-button clicks within the timespan chosen via the Date Range menu.
* **Watched till end** – How many videos watched to completion within the timespan chosen via the Date Range menu.

Each point also shows the trend of the campaign with percentages (e.g. ↗️ 167% for **Visits**). Trend lines for **Today** compare to **Yesterday**. Same goes for the others, e.g. **Last 7 days** compares with the 7 days prior, etc.

## Timeline

The timeline shows each statistic on a timeline for you to be able to follow how the campaign is evolving during its lifespan.

If you wish to see the cumulative statistics instead, you can toggle on **Show cumulative**.

::: info
You can toggle the General Statistics to show either Unique or Total statistics.

Example:

* Visits with Unique toggled = how many unique video player links have been loaded from the selected Project.
* Visits with Total toggled = how many times video player links from the selected Project have been loaded in total.
  :::

## Conversion Funnel

The Conversion Funnel visualises how the video recipients progress through the steps from the visit to conversion. You can toggle the conversion goal to be either Engagement or Action.

The Conversion Funnel consists of 3 steps:

* **Visited** – Unique video players loaded
* **Played** – Unique video plays
* **Watched till end** (if conversion goal is set to Engagement) – Unique completions
* **CTA clicked** (if conversion goal is set to Action) – Unique CTA clicks

## VPR

VPR (Video Play Rate) widget shows how many from the audience have clicked play to watch their video after landing on the player page.

The widget also shows the difference between visits and video plays visually.

The numbers shown in the VPR widget depend on the chosen date range, and can be toggled to either show uniques or total VPR.

## VTR

VTR (View-Through Rate) widget shows how many of those that started watching their video also viewed it through (at least 80% of the total length of video).

The widget also shows the difference between finished and not finished video plays visually.

The numbers shown in the VTR widget depend on the chosen date range, and can be toggled to either show uniques or total VTR.

## Returning visits

The returning visits widget shows the ratio of new, unique visitors vs returning visitors. The uniqueness of the visitor is based on the visitor's IP address.

The numbers shown in the Returning visits widget depend on the chosen date range, and can be toggled to either show uniques or total visits.

## Devices breakdown

The devices breakdown widget shows the ratio of different devices loading player links.

The numbers shown in the Devices breakdown widget depend on the chosen date range, and can be toggled to either show uniques or total visits.

## Shared Videos by Channel

The Shared Videos by Channel widget shows the distribution of sharing destinations for videos in the selected Project. Numbers are counted from the in-video share button. Use this to see which channels, such as email, social, or direct link, your viewers are sharing videos through.

## Average Metrics per Player
