# How to embed your Seen email thumbnail

This is a general guide to how embedding the email thumbnail works.

For additional information refer to the documentation of your distribution platform.

When you have generated videos through Seen Platform (either via CSV import or API), you will get a unique, personalised email thumbnail image link generated together with each video.

Adding these images to your email communication is commonly done as follows:

1. Create a new field for the email thumbnail image in your CRM / Marketing Automation system.
2. Add the unique links to this field either via file import or through API.
3. Use the newly created field as a dynamic image source in your communication.
