How to build a story

Story guidelines

  • Short: Keep your film short and concise. Aim for no longer than 1 minute, preferably closer to 30 seconds.
  • Grab attention: Start with a personalised, attention-grabbing intro.
    • Example: Use AI name reading and show the name visually early in the film.
  • Block clearly: Structure the story in a logical way.
    • Example: intro, problem, solution, CTA.
  • Visual-first: Use imagery or video over text; keep copy minimal and punchy.
    • Example: Use an image of their new personal credit card, their next flight destination, or their favourite football team.
  • Data with purpose: Only show data that drives the message or emotion, personalise where relevant.
    • Example: First name, Last name, Points, Membership status, Suggested Destination.
  • Call to action: Reinforce the message and include a clear, actionable CTA.
